:: Banks
For purposes of definition, Remote Video/Audio Monitoring
can provide PROCATIVE or REACTIVE monitoring of the
property.
*Reactive monitoring is receiving a signal from a system
that indicates that there is a problem - such as an
alarm activation or panic button activation.
Proactive monitoring is provided based upon a specific
schedule - such as an hourly tour to replace or augment
the services of a security guard or drive by patrol
service.
Banks, Credit Union, Check Cashing Facilities: There
are TWO primary applications for the banking community:
1. To provide a higher level of security at ATM locations.
To accomplish this, Remote Video/Audio Monitoring utilizes
fixed or PTZ cameras viewing the ATM area. Typically
this type of monitoring will be PROACTIVE. If the ATM
is enclosed, panic devices can be installed by the entrance
so that a patron can call for assistance in the event
that he/she is being threatened or intimidated. In this
event, an Intervention Specialist can have two way dialogue
with the patron and/or can make a general announcement
to notify the person that they are being monitored.
Should criminal activity be observed, announcements
are made for the person to leave the property immediately.
If necessary, police can be dispatched to the property.
2. To deter and diffuse possible robbery situations.
At these locations we either replace or back up existing
armed guards. To accomplish this Remote Video PatroITM
utilizes fixed cameras viewing entrances to the location,
teller lines, ATMs and drive through lanes. Panic devices
are located at the teller positions, guard stations,
bank managers or executive offices and ATMs. Because
interactive video is provided, bait bills can be utilized.
Remote Video/Audio Monitoring will work with your specific
policies and procedures regarding hold-ups, openings
and closings, as well as bank security procedures. If
necessary, police can be dispatched to the property
and we can provide real-time video verification as to
the events that are occurring.
In addition to the above monitoring, we strongly encourage
installation of VCRs or Digital Video Recorders for
24-hour documentation of activity on the property. Camera
control and monitors can also be provided to allow the
dealership management to supervise employees activities
during business hours.
In addition to the above capabilities, we can provide
additional equipment so that the cameras will be accessible
to bank via the Internet. Video can also be fed to a
variety of handheld devices, such as a Palm Pilot

:: Auto Dealerships
Auto Dealerships: The main purpose for interactive
services at automobile dealerships is to replace costly,
ineffective guards during non-business hours to protect
outside inventory.
The system is configured so that when the location is
closed for business and when someone enters the property,
the system calls the Monitoring Center providing video
and audio from cameras and microphones installed at
the dealership.
An Intervention Specialist will make a general announcement
to notify the person that they are being monitored.
Should criminal activity be observed, announcements
are made for the person to leave the property immediately.
If necessary, police can be dispatched to the property.
With additional equipment and monitoring fees we can
also provide monitoring of interior burglar alarms systems.
We can also provide access to the property after hours
by controlling gates for delivery of inventory by transport
trucks, drop off of vehicles by wreckers, transport
or even parts delivery.
:: Retail Locations
The main purpose for interactive services at retail
locations is to deter and diffuse possible theft, trespassing,
loitering, car jacking, drug sales, robbery or violent
situations.
To accomplish this Remote Video/Audio Monitoring utilizes
cameras viewing entrances to the location, counter,
cooler, parking lots, gas pumps and drive through lanes.
Panic devices are located at the cashier positions and
vaults. Wireless panic devices are also provided to
allow the employees to trigger the system from anywhere
on the property.
Because interactive video is provided, bait bills can
be utilized.
Monitors are installed in plain view at the counter
area to let customers know they are on video.
Monitoring can also include customer service and security
for customers for after hour ATM or pay phone use.

:: Warehouses, Industrial, Outdoor Inventory
The main purpose for interactive services at these businesses
is to replace costly, ineffective guards during non-business
hours to protect outside inventory.
To accomplish this Remote Video/Audio Monitoring utilizes
photoelectric beams, fence systems and or outdoor motion
traps on the perimeter of the property.
Pan Tilt Zoom and fixed cameras are installed to provide
us the ability to see who is on the property. The system
is set when the location is closed for business.
When someone enters the property the system "calls"
the monitoring Center providing video and audio of the
location.
Should criminal activity be determined, announcements
are made for the person to leave the property immediately.
If necessary, police can be dispatched to the property.
We can also provide access to the property after hours
by controlling gates for delivery of inventory.
With additional equipment and monitoring fees we can
also provide monitoring of interior burglar alarms systems.

:: Unmanned Gas Stations
The main purpose for interactive services at unmanned
locations is to provide security, deter vandalism and
provide customer service.
To accomplish this, Remote Video/Audio Monitoring utilizes
Pan Tilt Zoom and fixed cameras and audio call boxes.
Should a customer feel threatened while on the property,
he/she can call the Monitoring Center by pressing the
button on the call box.
The monitoring center can utilize the cameras to evaluate
the situation and either "run off' a suspect or
dispatch the police.
In emergency situations such a fire and gas spills the
monitoring center can activate relays to shut off pumps.
For customer service we can use procedures developed
by the company to assist the customers for refunds of
lost money, to activate pumps or car washes or obtain
receipts.

:: Apartment Complexes
The main purpose for interactive services at apartment
complexes is replace or augment costly security guards,
deter vandalism and provide customer service.
To accomplish this, Remote Video/Audio Monitoring utilizes
Pan Tilt Zoom and fixed cameras, audio call boxes, microphones
and speakers.
The monitoring center can utilize the cameras to evaluate
the situation and either "run off" a suspect
utilizing speakers and microphones or dispatch the police.
Remote Video/Audio Monitoring center's calls to your
local police department dispatch center are welcomed.
Through the eye of the camera, real-time information
is being reported giving the police better information
that results in significantly greater response successes.
Stable security costs - Remote Video/Audio Monitoring
Patrol is immune from escalating labor costs, cost of
living indexes and other factors, which cause guard
services to increase pricing.
Remote Video/Audio Monitoring cameras cannot be intimidated
or threatened into looking the other way.
Remote Video/Audio Monitoring cameras cannot be anticipated
by lookouts watching for the guard on the beat.
Remote Video/Audio Monitoring takes away the first goal
of the drug dealer, burglar, rapist, or vandal; to "get
away with it". Being recorded on camera AND being
seen in action is the single greatest deterrent to controlling
criminal activity.
Reduced liability exposure - Most insurance companies
look favorably at properties with leading edge security
systems. Electronic systems are considered far more
effective than traditional guards who traditionally
face issues with inadequate training, poor supervision
often lacking sound judgement.
Stable staff - Site employees work better and stay longer
where they feel secure.
Enhanced bottom line - A stable property brings with
it less turnover, higher rents, higher occupancy, less
advertising expense and lower maintenance costs.
Enhanced community image - A property that is not attacked
by crime, becomes an asset to the community as well
as the owner and manager who have their names and reputations
attached to that property.
